Epworth United methodist Church

Short Duration Bible Studies

From time to time we offer short duration Bible studies for small groups.  These will be announced in the newsletter and listed on the calendar as they are offered.  You are invited to call Keith Badowski at (334) 298-3186 to find out about the latest offerings. Sometimes they are thematically based on topics such as marriage, parenting, or finances, for example.

Wednesday Mornings

Ladies Bible Study

Wednesday Night Studies

Meets Wednesday 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, August thru April

Most people who take a Disciple class say that it was one of the best experiences they ever had at church.  The classes help those who participate to understand scripture, doctrine, and their purpose in God’s will.

The Disciple classes are weekly classes that meet for 32-38 weeks.  Each class is made up of about 6-12 people who enter into a covenant relationship with each other and God to read weekly assignments, attend regularly, and participate in class discussions. Disciple 1 is a survey course of the entire Bible. (Disciple 1 also is the single requirement before taking any of the other classes in the Disciple series.) Classes meet for 2 and a half hours (including break).  Each session features plenty of in-depth discussion and an instructive video component. The daily readings can take anywhere from 20 - 45 minutes.

By the end of the course, you will know the Bible substantially better than you do right now, and your relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ will have grown significantly closer as well.

For more info contact Keith Badowski at (334) 298-3186.
